Some Interesting Findings!

Some Interesting Findings!

Sorry for the delay on this post

I've made contact through this journey with some previous owners of the car!

So I've had no information on it since before it landed in the UK. It was owned by a speed hunters contributor before it was imported to Ireland around 10 years ago. The owner was kind enough to send me on a few photos of what it used to look like I'll upload them below.

It's cool seeing all these snippets of history with something you have now and seeing how different it used to look. Also, sadly comes into my head where did it all go wrong, it looks like such a beautiful example here. Ironicly, it was always a dream of mine to have a car in this exact colour. I've a heap of more photos of it and this is actually the third previous owner I've been in contact with. It's amazing the way social media is now that you can do easily get into contact about anything with anyone nowadays. The cabin panel on the back I had when I got the car but was unfortunately wrecked with sandmarks. Apparently... whoever painted it sanded it down, realised he'd made a mistake rough sanding carbon, and then left it. So I sold it and organised with the buyer a friend of mine that does hydrodipping to get it looking new by getting it carbon dipped, and switched it out with the retropanel I have fitted to the car now.

With updates on the car I've been quiete lately as life just got in the way there for a few weeks but I will try be more consistent now as I'm going to write a few of these blogs in one go and set the upload times for every Monday. The next blog post I'll be putting up I'm trying to get all the videos of the extent of the rust on this car to show you how bad it is but have had difficulty uploading videos, which I've hopefully worked out!

Until next time! I'll upload a few more old photos of it below!
